Abigail Pascua

Chief Executive Officer

Abigail Pascua brings over two decades of progressive, diverse non-profit management experience related to seniors and people living with disabilities. She played an integral role in developing and introducing the Transportation Reimbursement Program, AgingNext Village, and the Volunteer Driver and Mobility Management Program. Abby graduated with a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Philippine Christian University. While her mind was set on utilizing her degree and getting a job in tech, her heart was elsewhere, helping seniors. Abby is actively engaged in the community and currently serves on the ParkTree Community Health Center board. She is a mother to three kids, a mini golden
doodle named Boo and a Sulcata tortoise named Ella.

Berenice Alonso

Mobility Manager, “Ride and Go” Transportation Program

Berenice Alonso is the Mobility Manager for the Ride and Go transportation program at AgingNext, where she helps older adults maintain independence and connection through reliable transportation services. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology at California Baptist University, with a focus on healthcare administration and management. Passionate about serving the senior community, Berenice brings a strong commitment to building meaningful connections and creating positive impact. Outside of work and school, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her daughter, exploring new places, and creating lasting memories together.

Cindy Angulo

Finance Manager

As Finance Manager, Cindy oversees all areas of finance including: payroll, accounts payable and receivables, cash management and federal drawdowns, general ledger, banking and reconciliations. She prepares quarterly federal financial reports, sales tax filings, worker’s compensation reports and bi-monthly financial reports for the Board of Directors. She also serves as the contact point for human resources, maintaining confidential employee files, insurance enrollment and benefit accruals. She works closely with our CPA audit firm, insurance broker, and payroll service. Cindy enjoys problem-solving, providing timely and relevant reports, and working as a valued team member. AgingNext is a leader in the field of aging better, that is a unique and appealing quality that AgingNext has over previous employers.

When not working she enjoys camping, reading, listening to music, and is a big fan of English Premier League soccer, specifically Manchester United. Most importantly, Cindy looks forward to each adventure with her family and especially her six grandchildren.

For many years she has been associated with National Alliance for Mentally Ill (NAMI), whether as Treasurer, answering a helpline call, raising funds at the annual walk, advocating, or serving on the Board of Directors. Helping others in need is very important to her.

Stacy Mittelstaedt

Volunteers Director

Stacy Mittelstaedt is the Director of Volunteers for AgingNext. Stacy has always considered herself to be a creative thinker, always looking for inspirational and creative fulfillment. Over the past 25 years, she has had the privilege to work alongside volunteers of all ages, learn from their experiences, and bring their ideas to fruition. Stacy’s passion for volunteerism, diversity, and progress lights a fire beneath everything she does. She has worked with amazing teams to orchestrate programs in patient care, ancillary and community settings. Stacy has worked and collaborated with volunteers and outside organizations to create volunteer opportunities for seniors, the developmentally disabled, and establish programs to provide access to health-related needs for the community.

Jen Sancen

Director, Senior Companion Program

Jen Sancen joined the AgingNext team in September 2022. She is the Care Partner Director, and has a passion for serving the underrepresented population of all ages. She is the first in her family to graduate from college and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine. Jennifer has experience as a Case Manager, Patient Navigator, and Quality Improvement Specialist. She has a strong background in data collection, and knows how vital it is to capture social determinants of health to continue to address gaps in service, and highlight the need for continued funding for much needed programs.

Liz Weigand

Philanthropy Manager

Liz Weigand, Philanthropy Manager, has served as an AgingNext Village volunteer since April 2014 and joined our administrative team in 2019. As a member of the community, she has volunteered with Meals on Wheels, the Claremont public schools, and has served on the Boards of Temple Beth Israel in Pomona and the Claremont Educational Foundation, ultimately working as their Director of Development. In her role at AgingNext, she will help to increase our donor base, attract and retain new donors, promote our mission and vision and share our programs and services with the community.

Jackie Banuchi

Transportation Coordinator

Jackie Banuchi is the Transportation Coordinator at AgingNext. In her role, she is dedicated to ensuring seniors have access to safe and reliable transportation, helping them maintain independence and connection within the community. In this role, Jackie brings her enthusiasm and a strong commitment to serving others.

Outside of work, Jackie is a proud wife and mom of four kids, and two playful Maltipoos. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, camping, and playing board games with friends.

Eddie Tapia

Resource Specialist and Case Manager

Eddie Tapia is a Resource Specialist and Case Manager at AgingNext. In his role, Eddie helps seniors get connected with community resources that promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing. As a Resource Specialist, he’s dedicated to guiding clients through available programs and services to ensure they receive the support they need to thrive. Eddie brings empathy, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for serving others.

Outside of work, Eddie enjoys watching movies, visiting local matcha spots, and playing sports, with a current focus on golf. He values personal growth and loves finding ways to give back to his community.

Laura Galindo

Resource Specialist and Case Manager

Laura Galindo is a dedicated Resource Specialist and Case Manager at AgingNext, where she is passionate about advocating and serving the senior community. In her role, Laura is committed to promoting equal opportunity and ensuring access to care for all aging adults. Laura is currently pursuing her Master’s in Social Work at Azusa Pacific University, to further strengthen and empower the dignity and well-being of every individual in their community. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and exploring new restaurants.
